Investment Management – Admin
Investment Management – Admin is an intranet application for Bank of New York employees by which they can maintain all the mutual funds related information. The mutual fund rates are obtained from an external system called Bloomberg, which puts the data as flat files. These indicative rates are imported into the BNY database. Employees can search for different mutual funds depending on the classification. This module has provision to export the fund details to excel sheet and upload the documents related to the mutual funds.

Insurance Management System
Insurance Management System is a generalized insurance application system, which covers all the aspects of Insurance Company according to US Federal laws. This is a long-term project that has sub modules such as CQE, LPS, CMD, RIN, PMD, PBS, RPT etc.
CLAIMS MANAGEMENT DATABASE (CMD)
One module comes under Insurance Management System is Claims Management Database (CMD). This module is used as a web based interface with which the loss can be reported from anywhere and accordingly the loss report can be opened as claim or rejected. This module allocates the reserves for a particular claim depending on various criteria. An adjustor can be assigned for a particular claim or claimant depending upon the criteria and only that adjustor will be allowed to do any modification in the Claim / Claimant. All the payments can be settled through CMD. The main logic is moved to the back end in the form of Stored Procedures that will be called from the front end in order to ensure tight integration and transaction management.

The communication can be in the form of letters, faxes or e-mails. All the correspondence has the option of sending now or schedules it for later processing. There is an LPS request program that runs constantly and services the pending requests.
