-Established the Corporations first telecommunications department with global engineering, design, sourcing for all voice/data and Internet communications.

-Renegotiated Corporate Voice and Data Communications requirements resulting in annual savings in excess of $2.8M (year 1). Additional savings each year averaged $1.2M for each of the past 9 years. Total operational savings exceeded $12M.

-Manage an annual operational budget in excess of $20M. Indirect budget responsibility for an additional $100M for wholly owned subsidiaries.

-Managed the corporation’s development and deployment of the first corporate Internet/Intranet. Provide technical and managerial direction for all Intranet strategies and security activities.
-Developed and implemented global telecommunications and computing strategies to support corporate initiatives in the area of joint ventures and acquisitions on a global basis. The initial areas focused on Western Europe, Pacific Rim, and Latin America.
-Key member of the Y2K and Sarbanes-Oxley technology evaluation and management review teams.
