Developed web-based Market Risk Analysis System, which is responsible for measuring and monitoring the market risk of Goldman Sachs trading positions. The Simulation Based Risk project is developed to replace linear Value at Risk (VaR) calculation methods from the variance/covariance matrix with the new VaR calculation system based on Monte Carlo simulation.
Responsibilities
• Designed and implemented various linear risk calculations such as VaR, beta generation, Dollar Value on Point basis of 1 (DV01), Market Exposure, best replicating exposure, best hedge exposure and other statistical calculations.
