q Orchestrated turnaround of local Facility almost tripling previous sales $2.5 to $ 7.3 million: Recruited to serve as New Operations Manager for Kohl & Madden (1995-1998). Completely upgraded this facility both with new equipment and construction, along with cross training of production employees. Was promoted to Branch Manager (1998- 2002). I helped increase sales by revamping old management practices and through new product development and innovative marketing, along with distribution strategies. Was promoted to Regional Operations Manager (2002-2005) working with a team accomplished a company savings of approximately $ 4.3 million by cutting inventories, and combining shared resources thru consolidations and lean manufacturing processes.
q Startup and shutdown of existing locations: I served as Plant Manager for The Ink Company from (1990-1995. Supervised the shut down of one facility and the relocation of another, including all scheduling of equipment, personnel, production, raw material, and complete inventory. Was able to complete this a head of designated time frame resulting in savings of over $ 1.5 million for the company.
