AONS (Application Oriented Networking System) is a CISCO's product. AONS embeds intelligence in networks. StockTrade (AONS-demo) application was developed to demonstrate the AONS effectiveness in embedding the intelligence in networks. The demo application was developed using java, jsp, sevlets and java script. "Stock-Alerts" and 'booking an order' in stock trading were simulated in the application. MVC architecture was implemented in developing the application. Sending and reading messages from the MQ-Series was performed to demonstrate the AONS compatibility with the MQ-Series. Messages were sent in FIX format, transformed to FIXML and then to MQ-messages. ANT script was used for building the application. Logging the messages to the database (oracle) was demonstrated in the application. Log4J was also used for trouble shooting of the application while running.
