08/2001-present:

Formally employed by Naval Air Systems Command WG-8255-02 as a pneudraulic systems mechanic for the fuels accessories branch at NADEP JAX Bld.795. Qualified/certified to work independently on the F404 engine Main Fuel Control (MFC). Assigned to wire 32 points of hardware on the main fuel control 6084T29P series and preserve the componet prior to ready for issue status in accordance with the A1-761AA-MDB-300. I aquired a personal stamp AT399 in the first 2 weeks of assignment. I have also gained experience Testing and Troubleshooting Variable Exhaust Nozzle Position Transmitters IAW with AI-448AB-MDB-300 Manual. In addition I have also learned to disassemble, clean and reassemble the VEN Position Transmitters. Currently checked out to use the following equipment: GEAE Electrical Tester, LVDT Test Set 8008000F109, Multimeter 260, Megometer 1864, Digital Multimeter 8600A and Voltmeter Calico Model 8001. Qualified on Power Lever Control's disassembly, cleaning, repair, overhaul and flow bench certified.

MILITARY EXPERIENCE: US NAVY. January 1981-June 2001 SECRET CLEARANCE

Aircraft Division Senior Chief Petty Officer.
Patrol Squadron Thirty, NAS Jacksonville Fl. April 1998- June 2001.
Responsible for the day-to-day production efforts for the Aircraft Division within the Navy’s largest training command. Directly involved in the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 32 P-3 aircraft. Supervised 6 Chief Petty Officers and 177 maintenance technicians. Authored several Quality Deficiency Reports resulting in safer maintenance practices. Oversee efforts of numerous contract support personnel. Acknowledged subject matter expert in maintenance/material control functions.

Maintenance Control Supervisor.
Strike-Fighter Squadron Eight Three, Naval Air Station, Cecil Field Fl. August 1994-March 1998.

Managed the operational, logistical and material effort for the maintenance department. Responsible for all maintenance control functions within the squadron and directed all maintenance for 12 F/A-18 aircraft and 150 technicians. Inspired the efforts that lead to the squadron receiving the Atlantic Fleet Battle Efficiency Award and the Estocin Award for excellence as the Navy’s overall best F/A-18 squadron. Selected as the squadron Chief Petty Officer of the Year.

Maintenance Control Night Shift Supervisor
Strike-Fighter Squadron One Zero Six, Naval Air Station, Cecil Field, FL, September 1991-July 1994.

Managed the Night Shift Maintenance Control coordinating all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 44 F/A-18 aircraft and supervised 125 technicians. Flawlessly coordinated a flight schedule in excess of 60 sorties per day.

Responsible for personnel, administrative, and maintenance functions of 23 technicians within the Aviation Life Support Systems Branch. Responsible for the safe operation and the maintenance on 60 ejection seats. Managed flawlessly the squadron Aircrew Escape Propulsion and Cartridge Actuated Device Program. Maintained a discrepancy free Ejection Seat Check Out Program. Qualified to High and Low Power Turn Up of aircraft.
