Responsibilities:
Direct Patient care which includes basis care such as hygiene and activities of daily living.
Physical care duties includes (but not limited) to skin assessments and dressing changes, care of central venous access devices, intravenous therapy, blood transfusion, venopuncture and suctioning(both nasopharyngeal and gastric).
Care for patients with chest tubes.

Responsibilities:
Observes and collected relevant health and psychosocial data from the resident, the family and member of the interdisciplinary team.
Analyzed the above mentioned data and develop care plan according to the conceptual model in collaboration with the resident and family when possible.
Ensures that the members of the nursing team provide the planned care to the resident.
Evaluated and revises the nursing care plans to reflect current and changing status of the resident, consulting with the nursing staff and the inter-disciplinary team.
Establishes and maintained a therapeutic relationship with the residents family in order to communicate current and changing status of the resident, and involved the family in the care plan.
Encouraged the resident and his/her family to participate in the care.
Documented in the chart all relevant information; the data reflects congruence with the individualized care plan
Ensure dignity and privacy for all resident
Collaborates in the evaluation of the performance of the RNA, P.A.B on an ongoing basis.
Make sure that all relevant resident information is transmitted in the nursing report between three shifts in order to ensure 24 hour continuity of care
Carried out all other related duties at the request of the head Nurse/ nursing Coordinators.
