Objective:
Since Hurricane Katrina and with having to relocate from my parish St. Bernard I now find myself with out a job after 16 years with New Orleans Steamboat Co. I would like to find something close to Jena LA or work from home.
Experience:
I have had 16 years in the tourist industry in New Orelans, and I also am able to build web pages, I know of all office machines and use of them, and was a manager of the Tourist Information Centers in New Orleans and also work for a division of my company Convention Hospitality Services: I did the web pages for this division:
http://www.conventionhospitalityservices.net/. Since the hurricane I have been told not to return to my parish and my job of 16 years is now gone due to lack of tourist in the New Orleans area. I also worked at Band Wagon Music Store when I was a junior in High School as a drum teacher and as a sales clerk. I am looking for something close to Jena LA where I am staying at this time and if I could would like to work from home on line. I have all the office equipment I need to have a full working office in my home.
Education:
I went to Andrew Jackson High School in St. Bernard Parish
I also attened a year of college at Southeastern University
Skills:
I have many computer skills, as well as office skills, my work with my compnay for 16 years gave me the ability to learn many diffrent skills and I am willing to learn more if needed. I know word, excel, web page building, and very open minded about skills that I can learn
Additional Information:
Since the Hurrican that took my life and so many others, we have found our selfs with out jobs and homes, my goal is to find something that I can enjoy life with and also do something that I am good at. I am willing to go as far as pinneville to seek employment, but due to a new area I would like to work form home or stay close to Jena

Everyone in my department or the company has been let go do to lack of money and tourist. New Orleans will be back one day I am sure, but I will be staying in Jena for a while. Gordon Stevens is the president of the company and I am sure he will give you a great reference on my skills
