Prior to attaining a Bachelors in Accounting, the operational, management, and human resources experience helped build knowledge that a formal education alone cannot supply.
Have gained invaluable finance and executive management experience. After spending three years as Accounting Manager for Banterra Corporation (A Regional Bank Holding Corporation), S.E. Johnson offered me the Accounting Manager position and was promoted to Regional Controller position in Sidney, OH. In early 2001 S.E. Johnson made the decision to consolidate all accounting functions at their corporate office near Toledo to facilitate selling the company. I made the decision not to relocate there. J&B Steel offered me the position where I had the opportunity for new experience as seen from the perspective of a specialty subcontractor. In early 2003 J&B made a strategic decision to consolidate two affiliated companies eliminating my position and moved me to V.P. of Administration. In order to further reduce overhead that position was eliminated as well. Since that me have been working on a part time contractor basis assisting with family business and area businesses. Looking for a career, not just a job!
The experience, knowledge, and interest are real, and I am ready to put them to work in an organization. Please call or email me so that we might arrange a time to discuss opportunities and how my qualifications fit with your expectations.
Thank you for your consideration!
