Objective: As a recent college graduate I'm interested in starting a career in Early Intervention. I want to learn from the children as well as from my colleagues. I believe this line of work to be very important in the lives of the children as well as the family and our society in general. I hope to gain new experiences and above all, help those who need my help.
Experience: As a recent college graduate I have not had much experience in the field. However, through my studies I have learned the basics of Early Intervention ranging from IDEA to IFSP's, eligibility, etc. I have attended tours of Early Intervention services throughout North Carolina as a result of my education.
Education: I graduated in December 2005, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Child Development and Family Relations from East Carolina University, North Carolina.
Skills: I am an organized, hard-working individual who pays attention to detail. I am a skilled typist (70 wpm), and knowledgeable in software, especially Microsoft Office and SPSS.
