This product is based on n-tier, component-based architecture and uses common industry standards and evolving technology standards, such as J2EE Struts and Hibernate. This is a Banking product having various features such as ACH (automated clearing house), Wire Transfer, Image archive etc. I was involved in development of Image and Wire Transfer modules. Image archive includes 2 applications IVS (Image view service) and WIV (Wells image view). IVS component is a listener that always looks for requests from different client applications and responsible for image capturing, storage and distribution while WIV is used to access various image repositories and to display the check images based on specific search criteria.
Wire Transfer included various modes of account transfers such as internal, international etc.
