The majority of my military career was spent stateside until I was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom from July 15 2004 until October 27 2005. Spending eight years in the military has taught me many things useful in everyday life. I learned to respect cultural diferences as well as personal differences. Following orders has been part of my life, and it aids you in developing ledership skills useful in any workplace. During my deployment, I was one of 4 medics in charge of keeping 180 soldiers healthy so I know all too well the pressures associated with stress and and time management.
