Experience: Administrative Services Manager, Assistant General Manager, District Treasurer Murrieta County Water District, Murrieta, CA May 2001 to Present Responsible for all aspects of administration, finance, human resources, and information technology for the Murrieta County Water District, three Community Facilities Districts, and the Murrieta Public Finance Authority. Implemented a governmental fund accounting system and developed all departmental procedures, to include internal controls. Eliminated the need for outsourcing accounting functions. Administered the district investment portfolio. Coordinated annual audits and complied with all state and county financial reporting requirements. Prepared the annual budgets and established annual tax levies. Advised the General Manager and Board of Directors on financial strategies and execution. Facilitated the implementation of state-of-the-art technology, including the computerized radio meter reading system, which reduced the manually read routes by ninety percent. General Manager Motel 6, Irvine, CA November 1991 to August 1996 Responsible for properties of up to 200 units, with two Assistant Managers, and 30 employees, trained Managers and in all areas of management, hired and trained new employees, made contracts with companies for direct billing accounts, gained full knowledge of payroll, budgeting, profit and loss statements, and utility consumption tracking, handled all ordering of supplies, processed invoices, accounts payable and receivable, automated all company reports and forms, and successfully applied skills in customer and vendor relations and business development.
