Objective:
I am graduating the summer of 2006 from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. I have over 4+ years of extensive experience in accounting and in the technology field of accounting. I have experience in various accounting systems especially PeopleSoft/Oracle. In addition, after living abroad I can speak fluent German.

I want to emphasize my abilities in the areas of planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and analysis. In the past I have helped various enterprises in planning strategic goals, bottom-up or top-down enterprise budgeting to allow them to stay within budget for improved performance. Also I have assisted in the forecasting of sale periods, customer demand and estimate sales revenue.

Furthermore I have worked with organizations in processes, procedures, reporting, and analysis. I have directed in the development and implementation of new processes allowing the effective streamline data collection and reporting on financial and operational data from multiple business units, general ledgers, charts of accounts

Finally, in regards to Sarbanes-Oxley, I personally directed and consulted a Section 404 compliance. Not only have I made them Sarbanes-Oxley compliant, I improved decision-making by making it possible to pull consistent, timely and accurate reports.

• Reviewing the company’s compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley
• Taking initiative in the creation of revised written processes regarding internal controls, accounts receivable, deferred revenue accounts

Dotun and Casserly Financial Services/ Dotun and Associates CPA – Washington, D.C.
Senior Bookkeeper/Lead Accounting Consultant – December 2003 to July 2004, and May 2005 to August 2005
• Invited back to perform a second internship, given additional responsibilities such as audits, consulting, direction and training of interns and new-hires, and proofing end-of-month financials review per client before submission
• Prepared a compilation audit under the direction of the staff CPA
• Provided additional staff CPA support by preparing balance sheets, adjusted balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and budget variance reports

• Assisted senior level principals with the implementation of a PeopleSoft database system of the financials and human resource modules (HRMS) on a project with over 80+ employees
• Primarily required to reconcile the general ledger with the financial modules and the HRMS modules after data conversion
• Responsible in the audit of post converted data and reporting back to principals weekly regarding findings and concerning issues
