Objective:
To whom it may concern,

My name is Bob Gorden. I am currently living in China.
I have lived here for four plus years working in manufacturing. I have over 20 years manufacturing experience.

As someone who has extensive experience in China and started three USA companies in China, I am looking to expand and share my knowledge as General and Quality Manager and pass this knowledge on to the next generation of Managers.

I have been General Manager for three USA companies in China. Two companies I have rebuilt, and one company I started manufacturing operations from "the ground up" by selecting the appropriate location, obtaining all certificates and licenses to manufacture in China.

During the start up and rebuild phases, I hired all appropriate management staff and established or re-established all functions of operations.

With change in management, relationships with local government agencies welcomed me. I established good relationships with employees and government officials. Puji Village, Jiao Zhou, QingDao Communist China Party invited me to dinner to compliment me to USA management.
Suzhou Government officials enjoyed our products and good relationships were also established.
Jiangyin government officials also welcomed me and good relationships were established.
I have established a good reputation amongst all employees that have worked with me.

I have also been involved in Quality Management Systems over 16 years.

I am interested in expanding and sharing my knowledge in manufacturing in China with interested companies.
I am willing to relocate in China as General Manager, Quality Manager or Vice General Manager. Position, salary and location are negotiable.

I have worked up through the ranks gaining extensive knowledge in many facets of Engineering, Design Engineering, R and D, processes, equipment, Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, Quality, Maintenance, Management, Supervision and Chinese culture.
My track record speaks for itself in the sense that companies recognize my leadership and skills by promoting me and hiring me to get the job done. I consider myself diligent, hard working, detail oriented, cross functional, team player, intuitive, cross cultural and a people person. I learn quickly and function well under pressure.

I believe my wide, unique experience and skills will benefit any company currently manufacturing or planning to manufacture in China.

Thank you,
Bob Gorden
