Pastor (1982-2005).

Took over the church during a time of declining attendance and
economic hardship and worked extensively with members of the staff
and congregation to develop and implement strategies for expanding
the membership base and improving overall church ministry.

Significant Achievements:

* Led the church out of debt in first two years through fund-raising
and cost control across all aspects of operations.

* Expanded the congregation by 700% and created the need for the
church's first ever paid youth minister and minister of music.

* Grew the annual church budget to an all time high of over $160,000.

* Lead promotional campaigns that create name recognition; promote
the organization's vision, programs, and services; and expand the
membership base.

* Implemented the GROW Program to reach members of the community,
attract visitors, and recruit new members.

* Implemented the church's first Church Council to address
problems/issues and facilitate communication.

* Coordinated community outreach initiatives that involved
establishing a food pantry and clothes closet and setting aside funds
specifically for outreach projects/programs.

* Enabled the church to contribute to missions and participate in
mission trips to the Philippines, Brazil, and other trips throughout
the United States.

* Planned and directed the fellowship hall construction project that
was completed debt free.

* Managed daily pastoral care duties (counseling, visitations,
sermon preparation/delivery), handled administrative duties (staff
training/supervision, budgeting, delegating job assignments), and
supervised/assisted various small groups and programs throughout the
church.

* Initially worked as an Assistant Pastor before being promoted to
Pastor.
