Experience: Qualifications 01/2005- 09/2005 Charleston Newspapers, Charleston, WV Assistant District Manager Ensures that carrier and subscriber concerns involving delivery and collection process are resolved to the customers satisfaction. Recruit, orient, retain and motivate independent contract/carrier force that delivers routes within assigned district that meets minimum service levels. Routinely check draws, returns and financial statements to maximize sales and collections. Monitor single copy boxes for sellouts and make recommendations on locations. Provide assistance with contractor routing, supplies and sampling. Also provide accurate and current information including but not limited to, draw, subscribers, carrier records, contracts, administrative duties associated with the contracting process. Maintain a regular maintenance schedule as outlined by Transportation. Complete vehicle inspections monthly to monitor mileage, cleanliness, damage and service.
