Falken Tire Corporation August 2002 - Current

Application COBOL/Java programmer on Lawson Financial ERP System.
Designed and developed numerous Supply Chain reports and extracts
using Unix/Cobol II. Created complex update and reporting systems
using SQL/Vsam files.

eConnections Corporation May 1999 - June 2002

Create and maintain Java Gemstone server applications on NT and Solaris 2.8
platforms. Create Unix KSH and Perl scripts to build, deploy and load EJB
containers. Write utility swing Java programs to display load statistics of
EJB container.

Perform Q/A Testing on WEB Supply Chain screens. Created and updated
Testcases. Authored defect changes and then tested the actual changes.

CSC (Hughes Aircraft) 1985 - April 1999

Perfomed full life cycle development for Hughes/Raytheon Cost Information
systems. This included formal analysis using Yourdon modeling and design.
Implemented design by using Cobol, JCL, and DB2.Approximately 25 IMS/DC
screens and over 20 Cobol batch jobs were created.

Primary Cobol support programmer for Hughes/Raytheons Cost Information systems.
This meant writing, debugging and redesigning many Cobol programs in a quick
manner. Provided supervisoral and training expertise for newer programmmers.

Suggested, redesigned and implemented a Cobol search process that saved the
company $500k per year. Primary programmer/Lead on COBOL Y2K projects. This
involved edited numerous batch and online CICS and MVS programs. Window
Century-ing was used in all cases. All programs were unit tested and then large
integration tests were performed. HourGlass was used to simulate year 20.

Project Lead on a CICS Online Human Resources project that required a new update
screen for IMS and DB2 access. This project used the SDFII IBM screen painter
for the BMS macro statements and screen copylibs. Using SPUFI, DB2 Create and
View statements were created and then run to actually create the DB2 components.
The COBOL program was created and tested using ISPF and CICS Intertest
(LIST, FILE transactions).

Provided DB2/DBA support for selected development projects. Using IDCAMS VSAM
files were created and then Table and View components were created for the
customer. Other tasks such as optimizing DB2 tables were done using Explains.
