1 PCB layout using Cadence Allegro, PADS Power PCB, OrCAD Layout and P-CAD.
• High Speed / high frequency. I have extensive experience with multi-layer PCB layout of RF up to several GHz and high speed digital circuits up to 10 Gbit/sec.
• Complex. I’ve done high density boards with up to 16 layers and with multiple BGA (1152 lead) and wide data busses.
• Signal integrity. I have done boards with controlled impedance traces and differential pairs with matched trace lengths as well as analog audio and video.
• Complete documentation. On most projects I have started with a net list and produced all required documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly, including Gerber files, fab drawings, assembly drawings and paste masks. I also interfaced with PCB vendors and procured prototype boards for delivery to R&D engineers. I have created a large number of CAD library parts of all types.
2 Schematic entry and editing using Cadence Concept, OrCAD, ViewLogic and PADS Logic. Modified and updated schematics based on input from design engineers.
3 Mechanical drawings using AutoCAD. Created and modified drawings for chassis, front and rear panels as well as machined housings for RF circuitry.
4 Interfaced with PCB vendors, sheet metal shops and machine shops for prototype fabrication. Procured components for prototype builds.
5 Documentation. Created and maintained BOMs using PDM, Macola, Excel and dBase. Processed ECOs
