Objective:
My objective is to work with children.I know that that is a broad topic however, I am willing to do anything that relates to children. I just received my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Human develop. and families and I am interested in opening my own daycare eventually, however, in the meantime I would love to gain as much experience as possible.
Experience:
All I have to offer at the present time is life experiences. I have been babysitting since I was 15. I have taken care of children from all ages(newborns-adolescents). My duties were not limited, I made sure the children received the proper nutrition, feedings, clothing, taking them to the beach, movies, the mall ect. I am an excellent multi-tasker and I am extremely responsible, mature caregiver. During my years at college I took many courses related to children such as child development and adolescent development.
Education:
I graduated from Cranston High School East and then went onto college and graduated from the University of Rhode Island May 05' with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Human develop. and families.
Skills:
As I said before I have had life experiences as well as completing my bachelor's degree. I am extremely mature, caring,outgoing and responsible, I am an extrovert/ people person, I adore children and I am extremely teachable which I believe is an important skill to have. I also completed two field experiences/internships with a psychotherapist who works with children and acquired endless amounts of knowledge.
