In response to your job posting for an Sales position, I’m attaching my resume for consideration for this position.
During the past twenty years I have had extensive background and experience in sales, management and product/market development covering industrial, marine, government, construction and consumer product lines. With this diversity of experience I have confidently dealt with company presidents, engineers, architects, purchasing groups as well as individual buyers. My high level of mechanical comprehension and ability to understand application processes give me the capacity to identify appropriate applications and source the correct product for the customer.
I enjoy working with people, matching product with application and establishing goals and working toward them. I’m looking for the opportunity to generate an income commensurate with the effort I put forth. I enjoy the challenges of developing a market for fresh products. With my background and success in developing markets, in-depth selling to existing customers, working with and supporting distribution channels and increasing sales, what I bring to the company is an immediate opportunity to move forward now – not a year down the road.
I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee but I do not have a degree. What I lack in formal training, I have more than made up through experience in the market place and I have taken many classes and CE courses to improve my knowledge in the fields in which I have worked. ( IE: sales, marketing and business). I have certifications in hydraulics, RTM, marketing, firefighting, radio operation and have a general contractors license.
I would like to meet with you or a representative of the company you represent to discuss my background and capabilities and how I could contribute to the bottom line.
I can be reached via e-mail at rharrigan12@mchsi.com or by phone. My cell phone number is 850-510-1318. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Ronald Harrigan
