Objective:
In need of new challenges. My main goal is to find a continous contract in the fashion Industry. Whether it be in design, piece work, or contract. I do prefer to work from home. Less distracting for my creativity.
Experience:
I have been sewing and designing for about 12 years. I have done everything from bathing suits and athletic wear in my own clothing line, to formal prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses. My contracts have ranged from making Border patrol uniforms and flight suits for other companies, such as NASA to working along side of Rebecca Marciano developing her lines for Punkture. My job criteria included but is not limited to, assisting in final designs, sourcing the best deals on fabric and notions, pattern drafting and production. Currently, I run a small but sufficiant design company called L&B Designs by Generations Ltd. I am head designer for theweeboutique.com, providing childrens boutique clothing. My childrens line has proven itself to be self sustaining. I also am currently working with one other designer from Kansas City (Ladies couture)partime.
Education:
I have an high school equilvalent, as well as 1 yr college for Professional business management. I also have taken an online course in sewing.
