Product Verification Engineer:
Product verification engineering centered on testing new feature software and hardware, generating problem reports for the designers and retesting to verify that the reported problems were corrected.
* Tested over eighty new product features and generated over 230 problem reports in eight years to ensure product quality.
* Wrote Crescendo-A DISA call script to test the Packet Media Anchor (PktMA) application based on Audiocodes MS2010 audio server. The PktMA is used to play tones into and collect digits from the IP bearer path for use in the Megaco/H.248 control protocol. Open problem report still pending resolution by design team for call failures at full capacity.
* Executed large office audio traffic test plan verifying announcement and conferencing traffic at rated capacity for MS2010 and SN08 CS2Kc soft phone switch.
* Team lead with responsibility for developing, executing, and enhancing the Audiocodes MS2010, Voice/IP and MS2020, Voice/ATM "Operations, Administration, Maintenance & Performance (OAM&P)" test plans for the SNMP based element manager GUI in the IEMS Integrated Element Management System for three release cycles.
* Utilized both Nessus and ISS vulnerability scanners to assess the security risks for the MS2010 audio server. The assessments revealed that the MS2010 uses the default SNMP read and read/write community strings.
* Sole test engineer with responsibility for developing, executing, and enhancing the Universal Audio Server (UAS) "Operations, Administration, Maintenance & Performance (OAM&P)" test plan for the SNMP based element manager GUI in the CS2K Management Tool (CMT) for seven release cycles.
* Worked with Mercury’s Winrunner test automation software to automate GUI testing for the UAS element manager and the UAS Local Craft Interface, a JAVA based commissioning tool.
* Developed and executed "TOPS IWS Network Fault" test plan for three release cycles. This test plan involved single fault and dual fault insertion in a multi-site redundant IP network used to support Nortel's Directory Assistance application.
* Upgraded ninety seven telephone operator positions in three days with IWS13 software for Frontier Telephone in Rochester, NY.
Sr. Test Engineer:
* Developed Genrad 228X and Teradyne Z18XX in-circuit ATE test programs and vacuum fixtures for SPM, XA-Core, IOM, NAV, 1 Meg Modem, and Access Node Packs. These applications include flash prom and EPLD device programming on the ATE. Provided functional design analysis and printed circuit board layout input to the hardware design group to ensure testable designs.

* Developed Genrad 228X and Teradyne Z18XX test programs and vacuum fixtures to meet GTE and customer specifications. These test sets utilize Panel Test, Split fixtures and Teradyne Victory test model generation. The test sets required installation and verification at the customer sites.
* Worked at SensorMatic in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico for one month to upgrade six test programs to provide improved test yields.
