WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE I possess over seven years of professional experience dealing in the communication of technical ideas. This has provided me with an ability to relate, motivate and work along side individuals of any age, ability or level of education. While employed as an Adjunct Professor of advanced lighting design, my students were upper level college students. Later, while participating in a teaching assistantship, I was able to relate to first graders and middle school students. Most recently, while employed as the Project Manager of a design-build firm, I supervised the creation of technical drawings and acted as liaison to suppliers, subcontractors, construction superintendents, high-end clients, and in-house staff and craftsmen.
I am detail oriented and highly organized. While in my most recent position, I implemented the use of hard-copy project binder system to centralize project information, developed a companywide electronic file structuring system, and created an advanced system of physical organization and electronic tracking of material receiving, storage and reference within technical drawings.
