Senior Director, Worldwide Information Technology

Accomplishments:
· Ensure InformationTechnology is a strategical advantage and aligned with the business strategy.
· Built the Information Technology Department and infrastructure
· Project Director & Owner for the ERP/eCRM Project (SAP/Seibel) (RFP, Evaluation, Selection, Negotiation, Development, Implementation, and Deployment).
· Rolled out SAP to Hummingbird’s European companies, without aquiring any additional consulting fees. Savings of $500,000.
· Established data communications with remote offices(WAN), through MPLS, Land Extensions, Frame Relay and VPN. Resulting in a truly integrated network (WAN/LAN).
· Conducted a complete re-engineering of Hummingbirds’ business processes. Revamping and consolidating multiple stand alone departmental systems with no integration or communications with each other - islands of information. Reduction of fifty systems into two.

· Strategic direction of Hummingbird’s Information Technology, internationally.
· Day-to-day operations of Information Technology, internationally.

individual needs, and paying attention to the departments' long and short term technological direction, we were able to reduce the system development backlog by 30%.
· Built and implemented a mechanism to track and analyze the amount of time being
expended on support and maintenance. This resulted in a combined reduction of 10%.
· As a member of the Cognos Product Enhancement Steering Committee established a program to solicit direct input from the customer base on the direction and features of Cognos' software products. Monitored expenditures against budget, ensuring compliance.
· Developed a set of standards and procedures to be used as a basis for all development. This resulted in a 15% reduction in maintenance and a definite improvement in quality.
