Objective:
After 13 years of succesfully running my own GC /Construction Management Company I would like to work for another firm again. The economy has had considerable effect on the specific commercial construction I have specialized in and I am now considering other options. I am a highly motivated and extremely loyal person who would most definitely give his all to the company I work for. I have 22 years of experience and can bring alot to the table as well as capable of handling ALL construction related problems and challenges. I am a team player and am looking forward to new challenges. Multi-tasking is another characteristic I have; I actually ran 5 jobs at one time with projects in Wixom, East Pointe, Port Huron, Utica & Canton
Experience:
Prior to starting my own GC/Construction Mangement Company in 1997, I spent 10 years working for other firms. I started out of college at Parks Installation Company where I became VP within 2 years. I worked as a combined Project Manager & Field Superintendent for a few other companies and then became President of PTI where I helped turn the company around (out of Bankruptcy)before going on my own in 1997. I have in the last 12 years built over 30 projects where I handled EVERY aspect from sales, to bidding & estimating, to all financial paperwork & contracts to running the job and then all collections and final waivers/payments etc.
Education:
Bachelors of Science Construction Engineering 1987 - Lawrence Technological University - Southfield, MI.
Passed the PE part I
(Have not passed Part II)
