Deployed to Kameda Hospital, Yokohama Japan, to identify waste and deploy cost reduction activities. Planned, facilitated and floor trained 100% of hospital staff and developed training for all new staff transferred or hired. Managing leader of Problem Solving Team to identify and resolve issues in various hospital activities. Problem solving successes include quantifiable reduction in MRSA activity, plan in place to eliminate all excuses with processes within one week of problem solving activity, reduced overall hospital inventory and increased employee retention. Team leader assigned to Yokohama University Medical Center to deploy Toyota Waste reduction methods and increase efficiency by greater than 18% in all areas relative to patient care. Hospital office efficiency increased by over 23% by identifying and eliminating redundant steps in every process. When a process was old or unavailable, a new process was developed and sustained by hospital staff 98.4% of the time in the first six months.

Project, Design Release Engineer/Program Management

Project Management responsibility for project timing and planning. Managed cross-functional team meetings to protect overall timing, product, process, plant, and purchasing readiness. Trainer and facilitator for FMEA and error proofing sessions. Design, Release/Program Manager of interior and exterior trim, chassis, BIW, plastics and sheet metal components. Responsible for low volume production cars and light trucks as regular production or after market conversion. Provided studio support from clay to signoff for all interior and exterior trim. Provided support for gas and diesel engine calibration at proving grounds and test labs. Developed FMVSS and CMVSS Compliance Demonstration Plans for second and third stage body modification companies. Design Release Engineer

Design and Release for DSO/MVE and Ford Overseas Product Engineering office. Supported various Ford proving facilities to support the testing of power train and electronic components. Revised WCR/WPAS/SDS standards to new specifications. Supported various program platforms for DSO/MVE department for specialty ‘niche’ vehicles. Responsible for packing the 4.2L, 5.4L, 6.8L and 7.3L diesel engines in the VN127 and PN131 platforms. Parts and service liaison for packaging standards compliance and serviceability. Plant liaison for assembly and tool feasibility studies. Provided after market FMVSS and CMVSS compliance demonstration plans for Chief Engineer signoff.
