Objective:

I’m particularly interested in a position that relates strongly to my over twenty years of experience in the aerospace industry as a design engineer. Experience:
Teacher, St. Louis Public Schools District Aug 1999 – Present
Currently responsible for the academic development of students grades 9-12, in Career and Technical Education with emphasis in Computer Aided Drafting/Design, maintaining the operation of a computer lab, purchasing supplies, textbooks, hardware and software. Technology Liaison duties include maintaining and supporting the technical needs of the staff and students, install software and assist with it’s usage, manage Outlook accounts for staff and student, basic networking and troubleshooting and maintaining district technology polices.


Design Engineer, McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Jan 1978- Aug 1999
Responsible for the mechanical design and documentation of holding fixtures, drawer and panel assemblies, optical alignment mechanisms and various other Aerospace Support Equipment and electrical design and documentation of cable and wiring assemblies.


Responsible for the electro-mechanical design, development, and documentation of production Ground Support Equipment. Duties include development of engineering drawings, preparing engineering change orders, estimating and scheduling work flow, maintaining database for drawing activities, preparing reports, interfacing with subcontractors, and supporting and development of documentation processes and procedures.


Responsible for the design of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for procurement to the military. Duties include electro-mechanical design, documentation, preparing software to interface and analyze GSE, and defining requirements used for documenting Acceptance Test Procedures.


Responsible for the installation of cables, panel assemblies and electrical devices to
the forward fuselage to military aircraft.
