(IFS) Procurement Director/Betrusted (2004) Lowered hardware costs by 20% by leveraging procurement agreements through several large buying groups, including Proquire (Accenture subsidiary). Significantly reduced duplicate expenditures and gained initial control over costs by developing first-ever set of procurement policies and procedures and securing positive reviews and subsequent approval. Negotiated major contracts with third-party suppliers for Sun hardware, HP servers, and Veritas software. Teamed with data center management group to downsize and rationalize number of suppliers. Enabled data center management to track current orders by developing database to follow procurement requisitions and purchase orders through approval and issuance process. Controller/Info Fortress Solutions (2003 – 2004) Evaluated and implemented new employee savings plan and supplemental insurance.
