Objective: Seeking a position that will utilize the skills that I acquired while obtaining my home inspection license to be a building inspector or maintenance coordinator. Also interested in pursuing a career within the conservation department. I have been an avid outdoors-men for most of my life.

EXPERIENCE Owner, Service First Home Inspections, Jonesboro Arkansas 2007 - 2008 After my employment with State Farm, i attended a required 80 hours of classroom time, passed the required state test and a Board of Ethics test to obtain my home inspectors license. I then inspected homes until the housing market ran into its troubles. I also inspected homes for the State Farm Agents office that my wife ran. Auto Estimates Inspector, State Farm Insurance, Little Rock Arkansas 1989 - 2007 The last 3.5 years with State Farm, I was an Auto Estimates Inspector. My assignments were sent to me via wireless Internet. I wrote estimates on all types of vehicles, ATVs, motorcycles and motor homes. Issued drafts as needed as well as instructed, and provided professional service to all customers. Owner, David's Jewelry, Rayville Louisiana 1984 - 1989 Managed and performed all duties necessary to run this business profitably for 5 years. Duties included watch and jewelry repair, buying of all jewelry, waiting on customers and managing all financial aspects of the business. Farmer, Chapman Farms, Mangham Louisiana 1979 - 1984 Performed all duties necessary to run and operate a large farm with my father and brothers. I was actually raised and worked on this farm from the time i was old enough to work. We grew and raised cotton, soybeans, milo and cattle. I also had my own Christmas tree farm.

Additional Information: My main work experience has been with State Farm Insurance. I worked with them for a total of 18 years. Three and half years spent in the Auto Estimates department and fourteen and a half years spent in Data Processing. While in the previous department, I ran work flows, loaded and installed computer systems and implemented projects. The first project that I managed on my own was well over one million dollars. I managed this project from beginning to end. It was implemented without problems and earned me an exceptional PPR rating and raise with a promotion. While in the Estimates unit, I was always praised for promptness, work ethics, work completion and excellent customer service. During my time spent with State Farm, I completed all seven parts of Basic Insurance, ICAR classes, Auto Estimates School, Toastmasters and numerous other classes. I contribute this to being raised on a farm and introduced to hard work at an early age. Recently, I completed the Government Career Development program on-line.
