Objective:
A Desktop Systems Specialist experienced in configuration, upgrades, rollout and implementation in a Windows XP environment. A self-starter with excellent customer service and communication skills. Effective problem solving abilities gained through intense and systematic troubleshooting in desktop and call center environments. In-depth knowledge of various computer system platforms.


Experience:
Image new desktops/laptops
Work with Active directory to move domain accounts
Refresh old desktops/laptops with new imaged ones
Install/configure Lotus Notes, Break/fix support for HP desktops and laptops and monitors
Break/fix support for HP, Lexmark printers
Provided onsite support at several sites for desktops, monitors, printers, laptops (HP, Dell, Viewsonic, etc)
Break/fix support for Wells Fargo bank branches on HP and Dell pc, along with Lexmark and Dell printers
Branch/Office migration from Windows 2000 to XP, backing up data, replacing equipment and redown loading user data
Dispatch work orders using Remedy ticket system and SIMS to field techs for break/fix calls for Wells Fargo Bank
Provide support on IBM 7044 servers for Wells Fargo Banks and branches
Provided support for 4500 Desktops and laptops, using XP, Adobe, MS Office Suite and Lotus Notes
Setup and configured new Desktops using PC anywhere, remote desktop and direct on-site support
Created and maintained user accounts using Active Directory
Created and processed Purchase Orders for IT equipment using SAP
Purchased and placed orders for IT equipment with Dell and CDW vendor sites
Provided onsite and remote support for 3000+ Desktops using XP, 2000, Adobe and MS Office Suite.
Repaired and authorized replacement Hardware for Dell series Desktops and laptops.
Used Ghost to setup images for use in rollout’s of new Desktops.
