Recruited by the Canadian food manufacturer to conceive, implement and manage a long term plan for manufacturing operations development and improvement for all departments.

 Managed the design and implementation of a RFID tracking system which automated warehouse stock control and shipping/receiving operations.
 Implemented and trained production managers on a new production planning system which reduced changeovers downtime and waste.
 Set SOP’s for all production operations.

Assigned to launch a 200-employees food manufacturing operation, with comprehensive accountability for operational set up, staffing, manufacturing systems installation and commissioning, and regulatory affairs. Entrusted with expanded accountabilities for strategic and operational management, culminating in position on the Board of Directors of Gandour Multinational Group China affiliate.

 Led the commissioning of three production lines, including procuring and installing of all equipments, recruiting 90% of the 200-member staff (including 80% of Departments Managers).
 Established operational policies and procedures, instituting quality control methodologies, and managing cost control.
 Sourced and negotiated agreements with national and international suppliers, bringing on board a Materials Manager with the expertise and industry knowledge.
