The new BRIDGES system will: • Reduce the administrative workload in the local DHS offices; • Enable workers to focus on delivering services to their clients; • Improve program accuracy; and • Facilitate integration of the service delivery system with other DHS, state, federal, and private systems. System Administrator Job Profile • Supported an infrastructure of Sun Enterprise-class servers running Solaris 10, providing corporate AS infrastructure. • Installed, configured and maintain various third party software including OPUS, Author-IT, OPCON/XPS, eDirectory, Informatica, Crystal reports, Mercury Quality Center etc. • Install, upgrade and configure various security and monitoring tools like CA Unicenter Agent monitoring software, Nagios, Up-time, FCheck, EMC PowerPath, Vantage agents etc. • Well versed with Data management configuration, creating metadb, metadevices, mirror, and concatenation using Solaris Volume Manager • Adding, configuring, and resizing local and SAN disk on systems and associated disk management such as file system creation and partition. • Experience in Informatica Power Center 8.1.1 SP3 software installation/upgrades, hot-fixes, set-up, configuration in a high availability cluster/DR (Disaster Recovery) environment and maintenance. • Experience in Informatica Server maintenance including trouble-shooting server issues, performance monitoring, tuning and recognize abnormal completion events, diagnose, resolve or escalate identified problem. • Implement a Citrix Terminal Service solution. • Maintain a storage management program for system users, providing routine incremental and full backups. • Maintain all servers to DOD standards with service patches, security related hot fixes and registry edits, including the latest antivirus protection to servers and desktops. • Managed multiple servers (Development, Integration, QAT/UAT & Production Environment), managing repositories (backup/restore/versioning control), security access and enforcing controls • Worked closely with the Developers to further enhance the Development Life Cycle and other processes and to continuously optimize the PowerCenter infrastructure for improved performance. • Experience in managing User and group security models.
