Experience: February 2009-September 2009: KINSELLA, WEITZMAN, ISER, KUMP & ALDERSTADT, Santa Monica, California Contract-basis senior paralegal in busy entertainment litigation department assisting eight attorneys, including three partners on extremely sensitive, high-profile litigation. Provided attorney support on matters ranging from intellectual property disputes to multi-million dollar business litigation, to tax fraud.
SENIOR LITIGATION PARALEGAL * Supervised document-handling, and database preparation in a business litigation dispute that involved producing and receiving, managing, tracking, and organizing tens of thousands of documents, including emails, contracts, financial statements, and correspondence. *Actively participated in the discovery process including preparing numerous subpoenas with document productions, organizing and maintaining document universe in discovery process that included over 120,000 documents, and video- taped evidence. * Supervision of organizing documents in preparation and filing of Appellant’s brief and Appendix consisting of. twelve volumes of supportive evidence. * Prepared business documents responsive to governmental Information Document Requests. * Gather documentary evidence for depositions, cite-check, summarize depositions, prepare witness binders, organize and facilitate case meetings, supervise document productions, and attend document productions as required.
