Process Designer 2008-2009

Responsibilities:
* Completed FEED and detailed process engineering design of 20 MMSCFD gas facilities for Husky Oil Operation Ltd. Estimated cost $31.3 Million
Accomplishments:
* Simulated and optimized the main process including TEG dehydration unit, fuel gas and glycol heat tracing systems, and performed water pipeline hydraulic analyses in HYSYS
* Ensured the safety of facility by designing efficient flare systems with Flarenet
* Actively participated in HAZOP and discussed the safety issues on various nodes
* Developed and reviewed PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, line designation tables, equipment specification datasheets, control narratives and shutdown keys
* Sized and rated two and three phase separators, flare knock-out drums, water storage and drain tanks with the fuel gas blanketing system (API-2000),control and relief valves
* Designed 100 hp water transfer pumps and composed a control philosophy for PumpSmart module
* As-built and evaluated existing line heaters, TEG dehydration units, fuel gas scrubbers
* Interfaced with drafters, and other discipline engineers to improve the process design and resolved issues regarding design and control
