Objective: Looking for a part time (at least 50%) position as a pharmacist in retail or in hospital pharmacy.
Experience: Professional Experience and Expertise Responsible, as a Senior Formulations Scientist, for over 60 projects and compounds in various stages of development. Extensive experience with solid dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, coated beads, pellets, and reconstituted granulation products. Worked on specific aspects of several parenteral drugs and liquid products. Responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from inception and creation of research and development programs to the final process validation for marketed products.
Experience as a Product Steward for marketed products. This responsibility includes the following: 1) High degree of expertise in all aspects of the manufacture of specific compounds. 2) Troubleshooting problems in production, identifying, and solving issues. 3) Interaction with QA/QC, analytical, production, scheduling, purchasing, consultants, etc on issues related to production of marketed items. 4) Documentation required for meeting specific FDA commitments related to individual projects.
Extensive experience working effectively on interdisciplinary project teams. Adept at determining key roles from other areas and interacting to provide the most efficient desirable results. Understand and appreciate the importance of clear communication, dynamics of teams, the need to understand what is important to the other team members, and the need to make sure they understand what is important to the team.
Publications Over 28 external publications from 1980 to 2002.
Patents, IDMs Authored (as primary inventor) over 50 invention disclosure memorandums resulting in 6 patents. These have ranged from very novel delivery systems to specific formulation designs.
