Objective: To find a position where I can utilize my extensive knowledge and expertise.
Experience: I was a journeyman electrician and foreman for 20 years and an Electrical Field Service Technician for 9 years.
Education: High School GED, specialized splicer training in the Netherlands.
Skills: I have wired and set up splicers, dryers and oxidizers. I can read blueprints and schematics, use all types of diagnostic tools and am fairly proficient with a laptop. I can diagnose a problem and know what to do to fix it and will work on the problem until it is fixed. I am an electrician and also proficient with electronics. Being a Field Service Technician I have run into all kinds of problems and have always been able to fix them. I work well alone or as part of a team and can develop a good repor with customers. I always keep an eye on the bottom line for both the customer and the company. I don¡¦t mind traveling and have traveled all over the United States and Canada and also to Holland. I have over 20 years experience in the electrical/electronics field. I have run my own company as well as been both an industrial and residential electrician. Previous to my last three positions I had worked as a union electrician and did work at various nuclear power plants including Three Mile Island. I worked at Three Mile Island during part of the clean up. I can obtain and maintain the necessary clearance needed to work at secure facilities.
Additional Information: May 2006 - May 2009 Goss International Inc. Durham, NH Field Service Technician „P Installed and commissioned new splicers and did service work to diagnose and repair problems with the equipment, from zero speed splicers to flying pasters. Installed software for the splicers and electronic equipment, ran diagnostics and troubleshooting. I was permanently laid off due to the economy.
April 2003 - May 2006 AIS Inc. York, PA Electrical foreman worked on wiring on newly installed press lines and relocation of press lines from one plant to another. I left AIS for advancement to Goss Intl. for field technician.
December 1999 - April 2003 Herr Industrial Inc. York, PA Electrical foreman. Did new installs on Megtec oxidizers and new industrial paint booths. EDUCATION
