Reported directly to attorney and in-house counsel with a broad range of responsibilities that encompassed and oversaw case load of over 300 consisting of Elder Law/Probate Litigation and Contested Guardianships which sometimes involved either financial exploitation and/or abused or neglected vulnerable adults or minors. • Coordinated multifaceted office functions consisting of court calendar management both electronically and manually

• Heavy contact with Mental Health Division in the tri-county areas, Dept. of Children & Families, State Attorney’s Office, Law Enforcement, judicial staff, clients and family members, outside counsel and other attorneys, and financial institutions
• Assisted in locating heirs in administering Guardianship matters through and up to the time of clients’ demise until such transferring assets to the Estate and contact with Executor
• Prepared and drafted Pleadings, Motions, Notices, Request for Medical Records, Discovery Responses, Request for Production, Subpoenas, Creditor Claims, Caveats, Contracts, Real Estate Documents, Durable Power of Attorneys, Last Wills & Testaments, Memorandums, etc.
• Compiled and reviewed all Estate Planning documents including Trusts, Wills, Durable Power of Attorney, Power of Attorneys, Healthcare Surrogates, etc.
• Reviewed real estate contracts, coordinated closings with title companies and realtors
• Maintained and updated client data base in Access and also the global rolodex in Outlook
• Kept an extensive tickler system for filing deadlines, responses, tasks, follow-ups, etc. in Outlook
• Created and maintained various analytical reports utilizing Access, Adhoc and Excel
• Prepared annual filings of accountings and annual plans with the Courts maintaining compliance
• Entered time in TimeSlips and prepared client billing and followed up in getting paid
• Prepared State of Florida Corporate filings and coordinated employee background checks according to compliance

Supported Florida Regional Manager for a national company starting out as a Receptionist/Secretary and then later promoted to Administrative Manager. Left for about one year to go back to school while accepting employment in legal studies at McCalla, Raymer et al. and then went back to Sands & Co. when partnership dissolved.
