Desired Wage:
U.S. Work Authorization: Yes
Job Level: Management (Manager, Director) Willing to Travel: Yes, Less Than 25%

Objective:
This letter is to express my interest in locating an upper management hospitality position with a company is the Chicago area. Based on my skills in planning, directing, and coordinating meetings, special events, and weddings and my knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and budget planning I am confident that I would be a great addition to almost any team. Currently I am interested in exploring a new avenue of customer service and management, and would like to re-locate to the Chicago area

My resume highlights my ability, knowledge and expertise in customer communication along with my extensive background in event hospitality and member services. During my time at the Champaign Country Club I have been able to increase special event business while staying within the defined budget. I have booked, planned and executed over 45 weddings and hundreds of special events ranging in size from 4 to 1,000 people. My ability to use knowledge from previous events while viewing and planning each upcoming event with a new and unique approach has set me apart from other Banquet Directors in the area. Currently as Clubhouse Manager I am the Assistant General Manger of a 37,000 square foot facility, with an 18 hole golf course, three har tru tennis courts, Olympic size lap pool, diving well and baby pool, and two restaurant facilities. I over-see the day to day operation in all of these areas with extra emphasis on the banquet and special event department.

I am excited about the potential for interviewing and hopefully securing a Chicago based job. Thank you in advance for your time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Respectfully,

Michelle K. Doyle
