Dear Sir / Dear Madam:

A few minutes of your time in reviewing the enclosed resume would be
much appreciated as you search for an accomplished, results-focused
training administrator, organizational development executive or
leadership and management consultant. Specifically, I am seeking new
opportunities to draw upon my military training, demonstrated
leadership and coaching skills, and proven ability to lead, teach,
and direct diverse groups through applied analytical and
communication skills.

Never satisfied with the "status quo," my career features a solid
record of achievements in whatever I do. Each of my previous
positions has demanded skill as an articulate and persuasive
communicator and keen organizational, analytical, and problem-solving
abilities. My background features:

* A distinguished career in the US Navy, functioning as the
Personnel Officer, Education Services Officer and Training Officer to
over 4,000 enlisted service personnel, commissioned officers and
civil service staff. I was instrumental in this role in crafting
shipboard personnel policies, guidelines and procedures.
* Over 6 years of experience as an adjunct University professor
teaching primarily upper-level undergraduates in a series of business
and management courses such as: Customer Service Management /
Management & Organizational Theory / Leadership & Change /
Organizational Behavior/Business Ethics
* Current employment with the District of Columbia Courts as its
Management Training Officer where I have coordinated and developed
leadership and management training programs designed to ensure
training delivery standardizations. In this highly visible role, I
have been consistently lauded for my stellar negotiation,
facilitation, team-building and social skill sets, among others.
Additionally I have single-handedly researched and authored scholarly
articles and documents on quality, leadership and management concepts
published in several court publications as well as the American
Society for Quality magazine.

I always look to move further ahead of the curve and strive for even
higher goals. As such, my salary requirements are realistic and,
given the strengths and attributes I possess, make me an excellent
value for your company's compensation dollar.

Please call me at your earliest convenience to discuss the
organizational development challenges your entity faces. I would be
delighted to make myself available at your convenience.

Very truly yours,
