Experience:
ENTOURAGE YEARBOOKS – A young but edgy company that is growing fast within its field. It is located in Princeton, NJ, and their clientele ranges from public elementary schools to prestigious collegiate institutions such as Yale Business School, as well as military troops, and church groups.
Freelance Graphic Designer (February 2009 -- Present) Lead design work for a wide array of yearbooks. Construct and enhance marketing materials for individual schools using Adobe InDesign CS4 on Mac platform. Other contributions include: scanning and digitally manipulating photographs, retrieving and sorting files submitted electronically, preparing for press, and maintaining the company's electronic filing system. All work is performed under tight dead-lines.
SCHOOL PHOTO MARKETING – This growing marketing company is located in Marlboro, NJ. It has an extensive customer base including several state-wide school districts, photographers, and countless other businesses. Their main line of work involves the yearbook project, and the annual “School Picture Day”.
Freelance Graphic Designer (February 2008 -- June 2008) Contributed in the production of yearbooks, and memory books. Also assisted in creating promotional materials, such as fliers, mailers, and catalogs. Other projects involved designing forms for fund raising events. Main software used included InDesign, and Photoshop on Mac OSX platform. Hands-on experience with material cutting equipment.
MMGEMS – This marketing company is located in Kendall Park, NJ. It produces a wide range of printed materials, including collateral, brochures, business cards, menus, post cards, manuals, fliers, etc. for local businesses.
Freelance Graphic Designer (January 2008 -- Present) Responsible for developing designs from concept to finished product. Position involves meeting with clients and adjusting designs according to updated specifications. Software used was QuarkXPress, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat. Finishing phase involves printing, cutting and packaging.
MOLDAVE DESIGNS - A Mountainside, NJ company that designs logos, ads, brochures, posters, press kits, and labels for print, as well as builds websites.
Freelance Graphic Designer (August 2007 -- Present) Contribute in the production of newsletters, brochures, posters, and labels using Adobe CS3, and aided in the design of complex websites. Clients included: NJ Transit, Mercedes Benz USA, Westfield Symphony Orchestra, Hatch, Mott & McDonald.
TWIN TOWERS TRADING, INC. - A Manalapan, NJ-based company, Twin Towers Trading specializes in marketing products through demonstrating directly to potential customers in national retail chains, such as Sam’s Club.
Graphic Designer (March 2007 - July 2007) Designed and produced packaging, promotional materials, labels, and signs. Heavily involved in the redesign of the company’s logo and business stationery.
CLASSIC CERAMIC TILE, INC - Based in East Brunswick, NJ, this company supplies tile and other floor coverings to the Tri-State area as part of the largest tile distributor and importer group in North America: East Coast Tile, Inc.
Administrative Assistant (August 2004 - October 2006). Administrative assistant to the company’s president. Responsible for the company’s ad campaigns for magazines, newspapers and television. Met with sales reps and established ad schedules. Chose and approved ad copy. Solely in charge of decorating new office facility, as well as visually documenting various social events. Chosen to attend designer showcases, openings, and other social gatherings within industry. Responsible for booth set-up for trade shows 5-6 times a year.
BASF - at the Cranbury plant this international company produced chemicals utilized in the manufacturing of plastics used in credit cards and related products.
Network Administrator (December 1997 – January 2001) End user support, server maintenance during Y2K transition period.
