Objective: Over nine years experience as a CAD Engineer, and over six years experience as a Engineer in the NAVSEA Total ship Training Systems (TSTS) program with emphasis on the Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT) system, Battle Force Electronic Warfare (BEWT) system, Trainer Stimulator/Simulator System (TSSS) system, Damage Control Training Management system (DCTMS), Navigation Seamanship and Shiphandling Trainer (NSS-T), using Mechanical Desktop Design and Layout Drawings. This includes shipboard mechanical and electrical design and integration including stress analysis, weight and moment calculations, comment adjudication. Also participated in CMMI training
Experience: Three-dimensional CAD designer responsible for drawing development and manufacture. Extensive experience in modeling of interior components and rooms for detailed shipboard construction efforts. Utilizing three-dimensional CAD techniques design foundations, equipment and room spaces for Naval Ships for Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT), Battle Force Electronic Warfare Trainer (BEWT) system. This includes weight and moment calculations, TDR/LAR incorporation, comment adjudication, installation studies and research. Participate in the development of ShipAlt Installation Drawings (SIDS). Development the DCTMS C&A drawings. Created installation control drawing for the CVN Electronic Charting Display and Information System-Navy (ECDIS-N). Also utilizes Finite Element Model Analysis Program (FEMAP) for the construction of various types of analysis models. Special topics include, mesh and geometry repair, ability to specify temperature dependent material data and variety of modeling techniques.
