Logistics Sales Account Executive
• Research and prospect potential companies for sales calls
• Communicate effectively to all involved parties -brokers, carriers, sellers-
• Handle all inbound calls that consist of tracking loads and billing/credit issues
• Create and maintain ongoing relationships with all clients and customers
• Constantly increase book of business with cold calls and follow-ups
• Analyze graphs and charts that demonstrate the fluctuation in capacity
• Quote and negotiate rates based on the origin/destination market, availability, and type of transportation
• Book loads to reach daily/monthly revenue and margin goals

General Office Administration
• Calculate billings and maintain sales records for scrap metal revenues
• Interact directly with customers and suppliers in both English and Spanish as required
• Develop pricing incentives and programs to promote new business
• Develop cost improvement and customer service programs
• Maintain supplier invoices and statements and process payments as required
• Provide other administrative support as required

Part-time Client Coordinator
• Schedule/confirm clients’ appointments
• Maintain inventory records/restock products as needed
• Maintain customer and other relevant files
• Perform cashiering functions
• Maintain and report daily sales/revenue data
