ENGINEERING COORDINATOR: Report to the Director of Engineering department. Responsible for managing all aspects of the repair and overhaul process routers of accessories and turbine engine components. Managing revisions of OEM manuals and technical engineering documents through Citrix Documentation Control and various computer software. Dallas Airmotive repairs and overhauls eight different turbine engines from four major OEM’s for the General Aviation and Regional Airlines market. Ninety-five percent of all the repairs are performed in-house.
Significant accomplishments include: • Established online access of engine manuals and technical support documents. • Assisted in the development and implementation of quality tracking system which allowed the department to track and isolate quality problems during the repair process. • Played a key role in the selection and successful implementation of an inventory/financial mainframe computer system for the company. • Provided technical support in repair procedures through Impressa for Inspection and repair process of engine components and accessories.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN Responsible for providing engineering back-up for Product line Engineers and Production Control departments. Production control was responsible for meeting the turn-time requirements for both internal and external customers. Product line engineers are responsible for all engineering support across the plant. • Managed engine manuals revision process as supported by the OEM through document control system. • Created and revised engineering support documents, work flow process documents for in-house repairs and those outlined and provided by the OEM’s. • Assisted in the implementation of a computerized labor collection and job tracking system for the facility. ENGINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Reported through the Production Control department, major responsibilities included inspection of engine parts and components to determine serviceability, service bulletin status, and technical instruction requirements. Routing engine parts and components for repair and overhaul through the Shop Operation Control System.
