Experience: I am a former Senior Intelligence Specialist with the Drug Enforcement Administration. In that capacity I served on a Diplomatic Passport working with foreign law enforcement counterparts and the U.S. Intelligence Community at U.S. Embassies in Southeast Asia and South America for 12 years. I also served in Domestic U.S. Assignments throughout the United States for over 20 years. Included among my assignments were the DEA Special Operations Division, DEA Headquarters, U.S Embassies in Southeast Asia and South America and the U.S. / Mexican Border. I also worked closely with the Department of Defense (JTF-4) and the California National Guard on Counter-terrorist and Narco-terrorist Assignments. My last assignment with the DEA was with their Special Operations Division where I was a Specialist in Narco-terrorist investigations.
Included among my assignments and “areas of expertise” were counter-terrorism, money-laundering, counter-corruption, “special operations”, Internet Investigations, and international and regional drug trafficking involving gangs.
I have authored numerous intelligence and investigative reports (classified) for the federal law enforcement community and the U.S. Intelligence Community. Included among those reports were topics involving narco-terrorism, narco-trafficking, narco-corruption , street and motorcycle gangs and cybernet drug trafficking. I “ran” an intelligence collection program for the DEA overseas.
I am currently licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Private Investigator and Security Officer. In that capacity I have investigated cases involving insurance fraud and a ”special investigation” at Dulles International Airport for a private security company working (contract) with the Transportation and Security Administration. In addition I have worked on special security assignments at the Dulles International Airport working with state of the art technical equipment on counter-terrorist assignments.

Additional Information: As a Senior Intelligence R. Specialist with the DEA I was responsible for initiating and directing the most comprehensive, complex, and difficult research projects and assignments in the illicit drug trafficking and organized crime groups in a domestic and foreign geographical area of responsibility. These projects included but were not limited to detailed strategic and / or operational studies into thee trends and patterns of drug movement and profiles of organized criminal groups and individuals operating in an assigned area of responsibility.
I initiated and directed the collection and collation of available intelligence working directly with foreign law enforcement counterparts and DEA enforcement groups and presented the developed information in the form of detailed and comprehensive reporting to DEA and U.S. Embassy personnel to assist in the prosecution and identification of narcotics traffickers operating internationally.
I provided training, expertise and assistance to foreign police agencies, top-level foreign law enforcement counterparts, as well as top-level U.S. officials on a national level, including U.S. Congressional, Senatorial and White House officials when requested. I provided guidance and orientation to new DEA Special Agents and Intelligence Specialists regarding intelligence matters, foreign and domestic enforcement operations and procedures. I established and directed the methodology of collecting, analyzing, and evaluating incoming intelligence data and initiated and directed follow-up action to ensure material was complete and accurate.
I established methods for resolving issues which did not appear to be susceptible to generally established procedures. I disseminated actionable items to responsible enforcement units and prepared and presented briefings to management and high level officials on complex and major investigations and projects, and of situations, trends, mission accomplishment summaries and other drug related matters. I maintained liaison with intelligence and enforcement personnel of DEA, and other federal agencies, U.S. Embassy elements and foreign law enforcement counterparts to facilitate the intelligence gathering flow and to maintain an expert awareness of current drug trafficking developments, resolve problems and ensure the cyclical flow on intelligence to necessary enforcement and investigative organizations.
I acted as the first-line coordinator in multi-jurisdictional investigations. I monitored new approaches / altitudes in the prosecution of cases with a continuing expertise in recent case law. I trained and advised Special Agents on state-of-the-art intelligence techniques, methods of operation and technical assets. I also trained international and foreign law enforcement and intelligence counterparts in drug enforcement and criminal intelligence matters. I was responsible for and directly involved in the recruitment , handling and debriefing of informants on a regular basis.
