Objective:
My Objective is to secure a new position that I can, "sink my teeth into". I've worked in the entertainment industry since I was 16, ( professional musician and audio engineer ), and have continued to expand my vocational and management skills within the field, ever since. Both onstage and behind the scenes, my career has taken me from coast to coast, as well as to Mexico and Europe. I am a very good listener and can actually speak the language from both the artists, as well as the technicians, standpoint. Consequently, I'm more then capable of seeing the "big picture", if you will, which better enables me to manage within the entertainment industry.





Experience:
Multimedia & Web - Audio, video, page layouts, graphics, animation. 2000 to Present

• Work in theaters, arenas, lounges, ballrooms, and meeting rooms, as well as on site locations.

Audio Engineer - Designed, fabricated, built, installed, and engineered audio systems. 1981 to 1995

• Created audio systems for touring club bands, as well as club and casino installations.

• Worked clubs, lounges and showrooms, as well as session work in recording studios.

Skills:
The following is a partial list of the Multimedia software that I have been formally trained to work with; Pro-Tools, Sonar, Acid, SoundForge, Premiere, AfterFX, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash, Director, AuthorWare, DreamWeaver, GoLive, 3DstudioMAX, AutoCAD ( lite ), Acrobat, WinZip, as well as many other proprietary software titles.


Consoles that I’ve mixed on, but not limited to, include; Midas XL3 and Heritage, Yamaha analog consoles
#PM-1000 to 5000 and digital consoles #O1V to PM5D, ATI – Paragon, SoundCraft, ( various models ),
Allen & Heath, Mackie, Behringer, Shure, Electro-Voice, and Peavey. As of this date,
I am currently training to learn the $225,000 DiGiCo D5 digital mixing console.


Video Cameras that I’ve shot with, but not limited to, include; JVC, Ikegami, Canon, Sony, and Panasonic. Although I have on occasion shot video for live productions, ( concerts, shows, conventions,
meetings, give-a-ways and the like ), most of my camera work involved shooting footage
to be used later in a non-linear, post production video studio. Most of my non-linear
video editing was facilitated using Adobe Premiere and AfterFX.


Lighting gear that I’ve worked with, but not limited to, include; conventional stage lights, ( ie: pars, fresnels, lekos, scoops, etc. ), moving lights such as, Cyberlight by High End Systems, Martin, and Intellabeams,
and then of course, various specialty lights and effects, architectural lights, dimmers, DMX hardware
and software, follow spots, fog and smoke machines, and light boards. Some of the many manufactures
of the aforementioned lighting hardware include, but are not limited to; Wholehog, Grand MA,
Avolites, Strand, ETC, Leprecon, Kliegl Bros., and Altman.


In addition to the above, I spent a several years booking club bands and international touring acts
during the mid nineties. I also worked as a technical sub-contractor for Tom Knauss,
formerly the Senior Project Manager for Washington Professional.

Additional Information:
On a personal note, I don't smoke, I seldom drink, and with my physical training and special attention
to nutrition and supplements, I’ve only miss work twice due to illness, ….. ever !
