Dear Sir / Dear Madam:
As an experienced high-energy professional, I am skilled in juggling multiple priorities and seamlessly transitioning between critical activities. While my primary educational and career foundation lies in the field of medicine, particularly in gynecologic oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, I offer 4 years experience as the Executive Director of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society, a 1,100 member international cancer society.
In serving as the Society's first executive director, I established its international administrative headquarters, created policies and procedures, set up tiered dues structures, authored the conflict of interest policy and 501(c)3 documents and vetted/drew up international contracts, negotiating with foreign attorneys in their home offices.
Now, I am seeking new challenges, particularly a senior healthcare or professional society management position requiring a CEO with vision, integrity and an intense passion for advancing cancer prevention, control and treatment options worldwide. I am able to draw from a wealth of experience and success that includes the following: * High profile experience as a tenured university professor and department chairman, invited guest speaker and visiting professor/lecturer across the world as well as many peer-reviewed professional/scientific research articles, abstracts, papers, chapters and publications. * A broad range of national and international contacts with influential opinion makers in international organizations including internationally renowned academics and practitioners. oStrategic agility and vision, resulting in organizational success.
I believe my strengths and attributions will bring excellent value to your organization. I welcome the opportunity to learn about the challenges your organization faces and to provide you with further detail about my career achievements and the talents, knowledge, skills and abilities I bring to the table.
Sincerely,
C502rdh@hotmail.com
