Sappi Fine Paper North America, Muskegon, MI Machine Furnish Manager & Environmental Engineer August 2005 to Present • Manage the pulp furnish to the paper machine. • Purchase cost effectively for all the fiber requirements for the mill. • Inventory both pulp and broke with both in house and outside warehouse. • Manage the color room and coating prep area. • Responsible for environmental duties permits and audits of PSM, waste water and hazardous waste of the mill. • Facilitate all morning production meetings.

• Areas of responsibility are Kamyr digester, bleach plant, wood yard. • Manages a staff of (1) Process Engineer, (4) shift supervisors and (2) non-exempt staff support employees and 46 hourly employees. • Responsible to operate within a budget for the pulp mill department. • Develops all department goals and objectives. • Developed and implemented cost savings projects. • Worked closely with recovery and power manager on optimization projects.
