Objective:
I have worked in the packaging field for 29 years. I have done a number of jobs such as machine operator, swing operator, Quality Control Supervisor, Production Scheduler, Office Manager and Production Manager. I have learned that change is a good thing also that your attitude is very important it can effect those working around you. I have learned to motivate employees as well as keeping myself motivated. As production manager I was responsible all operations in the plant. This included all operators, supervisors, tech support and warehouse employees.The most important achievement was I can up for recipes for all products that should pictures of what the quality package looked like and gave all the guide lines for weights of products.

Machine Operator

August 1978 to September 1982
Operated packaging machines making coffee, koolaid, rice and beans. Set records on each piece of equipment they would put me on. I believe that quality and safety are the most important part of operating equipment.

Quality Control Supervisor

August 1985 to October 1993
I was responsible for all quality made in the plant. I ensured that anything leaving the plant meet the company standards. I was able to create a team work environment by communicating effectively between shifts/departments.

Swing Operator

After setting records on equipment I proved that I could learn equipment quickly. I was promoted to swing operator. My job was to take any machine that was running poorly, get it running again and train the operators in what I had done to fix the issues then it was on to the next piece of equipment. Trained new employees how to operate equipment.

I was responsible for scheduling of products in the packaging plant. I stream lined the products to minimize the number of changeovers done in the month.

I was responsible for all reporting, bills and payroll for the plant. The most important achievement was that I came up with a waste program so we could track how much it was costing us to make products.
