• Set-up new procedures & redesigned processes for cash flow forecasting through Hyperion software; wire transfers, ACH and lockbox through EDI software, and investments through external advisor to provide better visibility and improved decision making capability.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly cash forecasts for 22 global branches. Maintain visibility of all corporate cash for the company.
• Lead monthly conference calls with foreign subs discussing cash forecasts, collections and disbursements, analyzing and suggesting ways to improve company cash flows.
• Open new bank accounts by working with legal department on contract language & monitor over 80 current bank accounts & monitor delegation of authority signatures.
• Manage convertible debt & syndicated loan revolver for company including swaps & debt- covenants. Work with branches, legal and tax department on inter-company advances and loans.
• Manage investments of $800 Million+, (six external money managers, two offshore funds and daily investments). Manage the investment managers to improve returns, reduce risk, realize gains and monitor proper duration.
• Research economic information for trends in banking, currencies, investments and industry comparison.
• Rewrote fixed income investment policy, restructuring investments resulting in increased yield, better mix of maturities, larger variety of investment classes and broader credit quality.
• Create RFP’s as needed for banking, treasury workstations and investments.
• Work with legal and tax departments on funding new acquisitions and act as Treasury lead on bringing them into shared service center concept.
